Aftermarket Grille

I know ideally go with OEM or NOS. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to go to swap meets or find one locally.

Who makes the beat quality replacement grille. I have found AutoMetaldirect, OER, or good mark. Recently someone bought a steel chrome from LMC but I can’t find the manufacture

Thanks

Re: Aftermarket Grille

Inner grille or the outer grill bright work?
I got my inner from summit. Can’t recall the manufacture but fir well and looks great
My outer grill for my ‘70 was from “Tri-plus” or something like that. Can’t recall for sure
Fit really nice and looks great. I
It was a little pricey but worth it to me

Re: Aftermarket Grille

The one I got for my 71 came from Rock Auto when they would still ship to a private address here in Colorado .

Thanks. I’m looking for both in and outer. The plan is to go through summit because the offer the best shipping and sometimes best prices. No offense to smaller companies.

Thanks. I believe looking from rockautos site yours is a Goodmark. I’m leaning toward the steel chrome vs alum.

Re: Aftermarket Grille

I bought the Chrome Steel from LMC and Love it. Sorry I don’t have a pic of the box it came in to show Mgt but NICE Quality part. Not cheap but worth it in my book

Yes a month or so ago. They were out of stock for a long time. Last look Steel was in stock Aluminum was B.O.

Beware Autoparts .com shows a steel grill but it’s NOT

For me going through Summit is the most cost effective for shipping. For example I plan to order the mar-k trim—directly though mar-k is around 400 in shipping where Summit is 110.

Lightbulb Re: Aftermarket Grille

AMD is the sole manufacturer of the steel grille.
