700R4 speedometer set up.

Hi Guys good morning. long time I'm not asking questions.
i"m imstalling a 700 trans but I want to update the odometer readyng.
Can you help me to find out what is the right gear set up.
i have a 3.73 rearend but before 3.42.
350/700/3.73

The calculations are done using percentages difference.
The percentage difference in you differential gears is 8.67.
To answer you question it require the gear count from you existing gears to figure this out.
Also note it could require a different aluminum housing.
It will have a range of gears that are usable with the housing on the front face.

Ebay sells gear sets for speedometers for about $20 (has 5 or 6 gears in the kit). I put one in my TH350 after I changed from 3.08 to 3.73. Per the previous post, I removed my current gear and counted the teeth, then used the ratio to determine what gear to choose and it worked perfect. I think I used a 21 tooth gear but not 100% sure. Also, not sure 700R4 uses the same drive set.
