02 Suburban Headlight Upgrade

I'm sure this topic has been discussed many times... but here goes again. I am looking to replace the entire headlight and turn signal clusters on my new-to-me burb. Seems like there are dozens of different manufacturers out there and most of them have bad reviews about fit or overall quality. I want a very high quality set of parts and I'm willing to pay the price for this level of quality. I'm on the fence as to going with a projector system or just a good reflector. Want to plug in a good, bright LED light. Really appreciate any advice and suggestions! Thanks!!!

Re: 02 Suburban Headlight Upgrade

I don't have any experience with any particular brand that stood above the others. They all ding-up/fade pretty easy. I normally just clean up the stock ones, then add a better bulb.

Re: 02 Suburban Headlight Upgrade

Try wet sanding and plastic polish then add UV protectant film.
I used Amber Lamin-x on the fog/driving lights and Clear on the headlamps on my Jetta. Haven't done the forward lamps on the truck yet. I really like Amber driving lights for heavy snow, rain, and fog.
