It seems like a scam listing, pretty sure same vehicle is for sale in my area.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Just took a look at the Washington K5. What a shame that trucks rust so badly in the East and Northern states. That K5, with the options it had, would be a very high-dollar truck if it was not so rusty.

If going to restore one as much as they did, why not put a factory drive train in it? And if not the factory, go with the LS conversion....

Beautiful! But $65,000? Not a factory AC cab, at least I don't think so. Correct me if I'm wrong. No picture of the SPID, either. Wonder what this hobby is coming to in the future. I've just added a few thousand to my estimate of what my humble GMC is worth.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Im not knocking the truck at all, its a super nice truck....but id think getting a few small details right would make it more passable as a true cheyenne super. That placement on the super emblem is way off compared to my factory placement. And i cant remember for sure, but i know its been brought up before about the lower tailgate trim being incorrect with the woodgrain chevrolet panel? I found out my tailgate is not original that way on the board. Someone correct me if im wrong there

If I was in the market to buy I would definitely check this one out. 1972 SWB Super for $12,000 . The truck looks pretty slick.

I know. I wish someone would buy it so I quit looking at it. Its only been listed for a day or two. It probably won't last much longer if it is as nice at looks. I see little things wrong in the pictures but nothing major.

Who ever put the tailgate trim on had a crooked eye.

Didn't all Cheyenne Supers have cargo lights? If it's really a Super it may have had a cab swap. Looks nice though.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Here is what I see...
Old trim, ok, truck was not just done up
Red paint matches dash, color seems not original but could be
No engine pics...why
Those are not 15 x 10 wheels, no biggie
No dumb key words in the ad but an unusual title
Tilt steering column is mounted all the way to the dash...forum member? built by a true 67-72 truck guy to mount it that way?
Has lower trim on the tailgate and it shouldn't be there but has stainless tailgate handle a super should have.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

How about a 1970 GMC fuel truck with Circus Circus decor?

Can't believe they didn't post a pic. I'll see if it's on the web someplace.
