The 68 has been settled!
I settled for $2811.00!!! Not bad for only paying 500 in the first place!! I got to keep my 68 for 400 so i know i'll make that back in parts!! (hint hint)
Guys I need some opinions and I know you guys are just the folks to ask it for! The guy i bought my 68 off of has a 67 c10 that has a body in just better shape than mine. A better rear end for gas milage. I can't remember much about it because when i went to choose one of the two to buy in the first place i only wanted the running one. But now the wifey said i should've gotten the 67 in the first place. But anyways. He wants 300 and the motor is pretty well shot due to the fact that it has some parts stripped and it smokes or so i've been told. i have no pics but i might be able to get some soon. The wood is still pretty solid in the bed other than that its in good shape. Tell me what you think, Steven

so if you do the math, i had 2800 for my old one. minus the 400 i had to spend to keep it. minus the 300 for the 67 equals about 2100. I have an extremely good engine in the 68 that i can put in the 67 that has no motor!!
What ch think?

Sounds like a no brainer. You end up with a decent good running truck with cash left over and a happy wife. Man it doesn't get any better than that.

Bow-tie-bandit summed it up! Now that's one helluva deal, 300 bills for a decent truck, less engine. I Like 67's, small or big window?

If you are carefull, you can even swing a paint job on that 67 with the engine from the 68.
I'd be all over that like rust on a Ford. |

I guess for practical purposes the panoramic window on the 67's is better however, I'm partial to the small window trucks, they just look cool as hell. -Sam

Sweet!
Small back windows look cool, but if you ever drive a small back window truck you will hate it. My friend had a '67 with the little window...it was a pain to see out of. I agree, buy the '67. With the money you have left over you could easily fix it up quite a bit.

Definately, buy the 67. You did good by buying back the 68. You should easily make that up parting it out. Seems like you got some extra cash on your hands too. That with the motor out of the 68 should get you cruising in no time.
Send us some pics of the 67 when you get it. And a list of parts you will be selling, with pics

the 67 has a small window, 6 lug wheeles (that means i can take the aftermarket wheeles w/ new tires off the 68 and put on the 67)
when it comes to parts guys ask me i proably have it. just send me a message. thanks guys
