82 k5 power train questions
Just got an 82 K5 2wd
No engine or transmission in it. With California emissions drama I need to figure out if it would be an 82 be a 350 or 700r4 ?

Check the shift indicator on the column. Assuming it is original, you should have your answer.
What does the SPID show? |

Its 200 miles away from us at the moment.
Was curious if an 82 was a 700 or a 350

82 could be a T350C, T400, or a 700R4.

Look in the glovebox for the RPO codes - MXO would be an overdrive (TH700-R4) and MX1 would be a 3-speed auto (TH350)
