Front Cab Mount Question

When I put the new front cab mounts back in, is there any particular reason that I should tack weld the bolt head as it was when I removed it? Its tough to get in there and grind it back out if you need to remove it. Does the tack weld serve any purpose other than not having to hold the top when tightening it?

Re: Front Cab Mount Question

No you dont need to. They did that so they wouldnt have to hold the top while bolting it in. So dont worry about it. You will be fine without welding it in.

Re: Front Cab Mount Question

I didn't weld mine back in! It was enough of a pain getting the old welds out!
