Smile '72 in Tulsa Oklahoma

Here are a few pictures of my truck at the Tulsa Garden Center. I drive this truck every day so each day is like a cruise! The motor rebuild is broke in and it sure is fun shifting my stock three on the tree with that big block.

Is that how your truck came from the factory, BB, 3 on the tree and a Cheyenne Super? Its very nice and I like the two tone colors.

Yes it is. It also had the dealer add on sliding rear glass but I didn't go back with that. Thanks for the post.

Re: '72 in Tulsa Oklahoma

I am in Tulsa also. Very clean truck. Are there any fun cruises in town for the winter or do they shut most of that off 'til springtime?

Fuddruckers on East 71st between 169 Highway and Garnett on Tuesday nights into the fall. Maybe somebody can mention some of their car shows coming up in Tulsa for the next few weeks.

Re: '72 in Tulsa Oklahoma

Looks like some really nice trucks in this area from the 67-72 family. It is great to drive them in whatever level of restoration they happen to be in.

Re: '72 in Tulsa Oklahoma

Should be back stateside in a few months so I'll prolly miss most of those then. I plan on having my truck 80-90% done by Hogs and Hotrods comes time in Collinsville. I'm up at MW Powersports.

Re: '72 in Tulsa Oklahoma

Good to visit with everybody. This truck was restored by a retired American Airlines employee. He really had a since of humor and had heard that saying and made up the plaque and put it there.
