Re: Site not secure?
I have a hard time with that statement. No matter how I reply it will sound as if I am saying bs. I will have Josh read your post and reply.

Re: Site not secure?
If you use https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard it.should be secure. As soon as I get the certificate verified and not self signed I will update it as the default. You should use.different passwords for every sitea as a security precaution anyway. Any sensitive logins I have all have a unique password, seen too many "secure" sites get hacked and passwords leaked to not do so.

Any attempt to utilize SSL using Chrome or Firefox fails. All password exchanges from my browsers to 67-72chevytrucks.com are being sent in PLAIN TEXT. -klb

Re: Site not secure?
The passwords may send plaintext, but should be securely sent. I have changed.for.the domain to always be https, but until.i.finish the upgrades to the new version that is all we can do.

Re: Site not secure?
.
I need to apologize Josh and Liz... Sorry for my ranting on about passwords being sent along in PLAIN TEXT as it was unwarranted... I was wrong. After some more digging on my end I found that password pages ( and most others ) ARE being secured by SSL ( https ). Chrome is not straightforward enough to show the full URL so I had to force it to do so by jumping through some hoops. The full URL can be temporarily shown by double clicking inside the address bar however this wasn't good enough for me. Now for the "Not secure" with its underlying "Your connection to this site is not [fully] secure" messages, these refer to the following conditions: not secure: means not https:// not fully secure: means in case of this site that there are still some "http://" references being made and displayed inside the secure outer URL. Hth, -klb
