Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

No build thread yet, bought it from PO this way. Will put a thread up soon, gonna fix a few bubbles in the rockers, install new wood bed, put a 2" lift with some aluminum rims and 32"+ tires on it and that will be about it..... until I get another wild hair

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Gonna buy my fathers red and white 71 Cheyenne soon, and have wanted to buy a blazer chalet for camping for a long time. I hate to sell it, but I found a really nice chalet for sale and will buy it if I do. If I don't that's O.K. too, I will keep restoring it and have 2 nice Cheyenne 4x4's

A little work never hurt anyone ,especially our trucks as they were designed for work and play.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

We bought some round bales lately that are much heavier than our usual, about 1300 to 1500 pounds. My poor tractor could lift them, but not steer with that much weight. I put them on the back of the truck and tried to balance them just right so I could just drop them off with a stab of the pedal. Glad again for the no-spin I put in this fall. The pastures are very muddy this time of year, at least when they aren't frozen.

Not mine. Belongs to member Flint70step. I snapped this photo at Home Depot. We filled his truck with cedar fence pickets.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

This is my kind of thread!
Firewood, from a client clearing around their home for wildfire reduction.
Free sand....

For the flagstone patio, finished after 30 years.

Pisses me off that someone threw the white mattress out, but it cost $35 just to show up at the dump!

Mesquite for cooking steak on.

More free sand.

Is this considered abuse?
I use it for play too!
