92 S10 Daily driver

I bought this 92 s10 2.5 5spd back in June of 2013 for $1000 to run my small lawn care business out, the truck ran pretty good, the exterior in ok shape and the interior was rough, but it didn't really matter just needed something get around town but it set up a little high for my taste, so the next day I cut a coil off the front springs, removed the issolaters and added a 2" block after owning it a month it started to get real sluggish and die at times after finally after a moth or so of not driving it figured out it was the fuel pump also replaced the tank the baffle in the tank was broken, from that time till spring 14 I did a few things, new tires, shock, complete front end over haul, and swapped out the hideous euro lights for stock ones, in early September I dropped my c10 off at the paint shop, which made the s10 a full time driver now and use to be driven rarely, but I started racing the s10 a few times at the track and a few test passes hear and there around early October it started cut out wile driving and later on back fire wile driving with more than 10% throttle and had gotten worse the more and more I would drive it, I did a complete tune up, fuel pump, distributor, sensors and the throttle body, removed the timing cover the timing were working correctly, so finally did a compression test after 2 months of running terrible found out cylinder 3 only had 30psi of compression and two wasn't much better, removed the head and found a burnt valve on 3 and cylinder 2 and 3 had lots of scaring, so instead of just doing a valve job I pulled the motor.
I was really thinking a budget ls but wanting to keep it standard and a budget that wasn't going to happen, so I found another complete 2.5 to rebuild with harness, had the motor bored 40 over, I painted every thing that was metal with some rustoleum semi gloss, and the aluminum with a wire brush, really wanted the engine bay detailed to hide the fact its still just a 4 cylinder, replaced all the rubber and vacuum hoses, and replace some broken wring, I thought it was also a good time to replace the leaking heater core, got the motor running after a couple weeks, had a few stangs but got it running 3rd week of December, after putting a couple 100 miles on the motor I decided to fix a few things, so went to the junk yard got nice bench seat, olds grille, seat belt, then It starting to looking decent drove it on a 220 mile all hwy tripp, used 8 gallons of gas around 27.5mpg , but it really needed help on the wheel department so found some 92 z28 wheels with good tires traded a nitrous plate and a little cash on top and it need a little lower in the back so I installed 3" blocks yesterday, now I'm going to enjoy driving it and change a little time to time
