New Rig...
As you know I had to give back Blue Thunder. But I was able to find this one in Dallas. It was a 12 hour round-trip, but well worth it

Looks a little more solid than the blue one. AC is always nice too. Are you gonna keep the rubber fender flairs?

I don't know about the fender flares. I've never seen one with them on. I'm indifferent about them. They might grow on me though.

Looks pretty solid to me. My K5 also has those fender flairs. I haven't yanked them off yet, kind of undecided on that too.
Did you put the motor in it or was it with the K5 when you bought it?

blizz, you set some time aside to work on your rig and i'll be there. Just let me know. Hey yukon, thanks for checking out the pics. The motor is the original one just cleaned up a bit. I had a friend sand blast the valve covers for me and then painted them. The manifold is a new Edelbrock performer rpm. The carb is used (bought from Jtrux), new HEI dist, plugs, wires,and some of the brackets have been repainted. The motor looks great from the top. Funny thing is it doesn't even run. It sat for years without a carb and plugs. Needles to say, i'm having trouble getting it running. I wont throw in the towel just yet. Gonna check to see if valves are stuck before i concede a rebuild. If anybody has any suggestions let me know. Oh well, at least it looks good being broken. Thanks, Mario.
