big block into a '72 blazer ?? help

Ok I am now thoroughly frustrated and am asking anyone for a little help.
I am putting a big block 402 into my '72 k5, I have it in the hole and bolted in.
I am past the problems with firewall clearance and frame clearance with the headers and now I am trying to get my alternator and power steering pump installed.
I am finding a problem with the alternator clearing the valve cover and lining up with the pulley and then there is the power steering pump with remote reservoir.
that also doesn't appear to want to fit and line up... there just doesn't seem to be enough room between the frame rail and the pump....grrrr
does anyone know somebody who has put a big block into a k5 blazer and if so how did you get the accessories to fit.

thanks for any help.
