Engine options

I finally parted out the 4x4 stuff from my Willys project, and I need to get the body back to roller status.

The Willys wagon will be slammed on Jag IRS, and probably the IFS too. If not I have a Chevelle clip to play with, and modify.

Currently I am hoping to use a 4.6 2V in it as it's light, and fuel injection ready. Plus I own it already. More importantly

In case your wondering. I decided to score a 413 Mopar for my D200. I am a big Dodge in a Dodge Ford in a Ford type of guy. And couldn't cheap out.

So if the 4.6 won't fit due to its extreme width. Which is not a unlikely prospect.

Would a 4.8/5.3 be better then a Series 3 3800 at being a daily driver/road trip motor? Just looking at options so when I place my suspension I can account for oil pan placement.

Re: Engine options

I vote abandon the D200 project. Put the 413 in the Willys.. Make it a gasser and take it to the drags...
