sonoma fan belt

my brother has a 99 sonoma and has bought 2 fan belts and they are both to short with the tenioner pushed down it likes about a 1/4 of the alternator pulley goin on there is no way i could get it on. one is a gatorback and they other is a dayco anyone have any ideas or know what lenth they are supposed to be these sure aint right

NAPA shows it takes a NBH 25060950. IIRC Gates would be a K060950.
these are for a 99 with the 4.3 and AC. without AC it is NBH 25060870.

it also helps if you put the belt on the grooved pulleys first and finally the idler pulley.

do you have it routed correctly? (post a pic)

Post the part numbers. The last three digits is size in inches. 0950=95" You can try a 0955. The belt tensioner has a range on it. Look at the arrow on it.

kind of, IIRC a 950 is like 94.7" or something like that.
