Lowering a 08

ok guys I was on here awhile ago talking about the new 2008 I bought. I want to lower it but there are so many different ways and different kits and its a bit confusing. Im also scared im gonna lower it and not like how it handles afterwards.some one help me out

Do you have a regular, extended, or crew cab and how much are you wanting to lower. Ground Force, and Mcgaughys makes some great lowering kits for the new body silverado.

its a reg. cab I do not know how low i want to g. i wish i could find pics that showed my truck in different levels. I do not wanna c notch.

Here is a pic of my truck. I have only lowered the rear of mine with shackles and removed the block between the leaf springs and the axle. That equals a three inch rear drop just to level it out. Mine after mods still has about 3/4" rake. Yours could be a little different. So yes they have around 3" of rake + or - from factory. Just measure from the center of your center cap to the lip of the fenders on level ground to figure how much of a drop you would like to have.
