Which way is park?

Might be a dumb question- but... With the 4l60e transmission installed in the truck, which way is park? All the way up or all the way down if I was turning the shift rod on the transmission?
Thanks,

Re: Which way is park?

That depends on how the lever is installed, but if you're looking at the shift shaft, all the way clockwise is park. You should feel a definite "clunk" when it's in park.
