Pricing on 99 vortec crank and such

I think I just laid my hands on a 99 Vortec with a bad crank for a hundred and twenty five bsame noise as his engine and when he replaced his rod bearing in the numberguy says making same noise as his engine and when he replaced his rod bearing in the number 6 it's f***** up even more so he's guessing it's a crank

can't imagine that $125 Vortec motor its 90% complete would be a bad investment
