Painless LS1 Engine Management

I have a Painless LS1 engine management system that include the wiring harness and computer. This has never been installed. I bought it as the perfect hi-rpm kit that came with a Comp cam for $1400, but the cam is not included. Painless offered a kit as I am selling it called the perfect engine management kit which retailed for $1304.99. I'm asking $500 for it. I also have a Baumann Optishift stand alone transmission controller for 4l60e and 4l80e GM transmissions. This will allow you to run an electronic overdrive behind your engine and allow you to control your shift points as well as have multiple settings for the street or track. It also includes the wiring harness. Cost over $550 new, asking $400 never installed.

Re: Painless LS1 Engine Management

You will have to excuse my forum etiquette short comings, I'm pretty new at this. I seems to be the norm that the first "I'll take it" gets first shot so paul mora is up. I hope I haven't created any hard feelings. I also didn't discuss shipping, so it will be on me. Again, I apologize for any confusion. PM coming your way, Paul.

None here. I didn't say I'd take it. There are different harness for a 4L80E, so I asked about part numbers.

If it were the one I wanted, I'd have bought. Paul seems to be willing to take some risk or repin the transmission connector. I am not

Re: Painless LS1 Engine Management

Whenever I sell anything its always the first "I will take it " that gets it. Everyone has questions etc., and those questions may not be the answer required and then it just drags on forever..

Hopefully Pail follows through

Re: Painless LS1 Engine Management

Well, I am not sure where I am in line or what's happening, but I will take them both if they get to me.

I called 'em, I can re-pin to make it work for me.

Re: Painless LS1 Engine Management

I just got off the phone with Baumann Electronics and was told that the wiring harness I have is for both the 4l60e and 4l80e. When you are doing the setup you select which trans you have and the controller adjusts the pins internally. Paul has decided to pass so if I read the thread right. Classicchev is up. I will send you a PM classicchev. James

It is always up to the SELLER to decide if "I'll take it" gets first dibs. I prefer to answer any and all questions. I want the buyer to know what he's getting and that he will be satisfied with the purchase.

Looks like "I'll take it" decided to pass.

Re: Painless LS1 Engine Management

The part number of the kit I bought which included the Comp cam is 65206, without the cam, which is how I am selling it, it is the same as part number 65106. I talked to Painless awhile back and the computer is the same calibration. They stated that the cam isn't a big enough change to warrant a tune change.
