Re: modernizing a 67-72 suspension affordably

Trust what all these guys are telling you.....these trucks with their suspension set up IE. sway bars, springs and good set of shocks and power steering will corner enough to get a grin on your face. Add you LS idea and you got yourself a fun driver plus a weekend auto cross truck..
If your looking to get LOWER..maybe a Jag swap....or a Porterbuilt. But i understand your cost issue Porterbuild is not in everyone reach. But a Jap is a cool little swap.
It would NOT be my first choice though. I would do as advised above.
One mans option...............

It was built affordably with a LS engine. Suspension mods where easy and seems to be a fun truck that they ran at some autocross events.
