Chasing OEM plaid seat covers any color

Anyone have plaid OEM K5 seat covers front and or rear? Condition not that important. Looking for possible use as templates.

Re: Chasing OEM plaid seat covers any color

Hi Pete

Thanks for the step by step picture loading tutorial. The problem seemed to be that I had to start a new reply to your post, not continue with the old one. Anyway, these are pictures of my seats. I would hope they would only need one, as I would like to keep one for a pattern for myself, just in case.

Thanks, Scott

Scott thanks for posting! Love the grey plaid. I’ll confirm and get back with you. May still need a rear with example of the embossed scroll and ribbed back.

Re: Chasing OEM plaid seat covers any color

I can take this cover off and let you borrow it as long as it comes back to me. Its filthy but no tears on the front side. Dirt and hay isn't showing it too well =) I don't care if its in pieces when it comes back as long as the pieces can be used by an upholstery person to make me new covers.

The back of the seat is nice too except for the tear, about 5 inches if I remember correctly.

If you are (like the other person asked) thinking about reproducing these. Id love to be in line for buckets and bench only with the orange plaid.

Seat in the rear isn't for sale or tear down =)

Re: Chasing OEM plaid seat covers any color

Thanks guys. Here’s the deal. PUI reached out to me for a set of OEM plaid seat covers they can use as a template to begin commercial production (in the USA). They will offer a free set of the reproduction covers once production commenced but qualified that by stating it may take up to one year. Like an idiot I didn’t save my covers.

Re: Chasing OEM plaid seat covers any color

Ok, thanks for the extra info. Directly helping you and getting my cover back in a timely manner no problem. But a year plus and my guess is the cover would probably go missing heh.

If they wanted to trade me directly for a cover and matching door panels they have in stock right now I would consider it. But absolutely wouldn't even consider that ask without your blessing.

Good luck in your search. Someone's going to be able to help you out!

Re: Chasing OEM plaid seat covers any color

Thanks! I don’t need a set of plaid for myself. I would like to see a commercially available set of correct upholstery produce for highlander K5s and Subs. I’m happy to connect any interested member with the person at PUI and they can deal directly w the shop. Seems like a good deal for anyone who has unused oem plaid siting on a shelf.
