swb (shortened) highlander on ebay

Not mine - sweet, somewhat restored, shortened truck (or a cab swap, or a frame swap, not sure - but SPID calls out a 127" wb, for what it's worth). Personally, I wish he'd kept it stock (i.e. restored it as the lwb highlander it was originally). It's not every day that you see a white/ochre deluxe two-tone highlander with an avocado plaid seat

Still a real nice little truck (with a few personal changes I might make if I could afford it).

I'd love to buy it! You know,I don't when I last looked at Ebay for trucks. I think it's been ever since you started searching and sharing. I just sit back and wait to see what you come up with...Thanks!! Now,if I could just remember where I buried that bucket fill of cash. Yard's lookin' pretty rough these days and 'bout wore out the ole shovel

eBay good for reference, but usually too over-priced (but not always... Like my 66, ugh). The sites that consolidate the national Craigslist listings are very helpful. Don't have link handy in my phone, but someone might be able to post one.

autotempest.com I believe is the one that will consolidate them.

Re: swb (shortened) highlander on ebay

I asked the following of the seller:

I noticed that the spid label lists the Wb as 127" (lwb), but it is obviously now 115 (SWB). Can you provide details? Was the original frame and bed cut or were original 115" swb components substituted?

Re: swb (shortened) highlander on ebay

wideside can you tell the original bed was cut as that bed has the middle stake pocket. short beds only have a front and back stake pocket.

It's a nice truck, but I feel strongly that the ad should tell people it is a cut down truck.

I would buy a cut down truck, but I would certainly want to do it knowing it was cut down.

I did noice the middle stake but I wanted to see what the seller had to say.

Beautiful truck! Looks like he did a great job building that one. Hope he gets every penny he is asking for.

Re: swb (shortened) highlander on ebay

Why does everyone spend the time shortening long beds and leave 6 stake pockets? Drives me nuts. But agreed very nice truck
