Smile Radio location, will it work?

I want to know who's re-located the radio to the a/c - heater control hold in the dash. Did you have to cut it or was it a perfect fit? I saw one tonight at the car show and I'm considering doing it to mine. Pictures would be a big help too.

Thanks in advance.

While it looks great in that position, cosider the fact that you may not be able to see the face of it, especially with a digital in the sunlight unless you lean over.
