Re: 1970 project/ DD "instant death"

Hey I was looking at my spare and I noticed that it has 4 nubs for the caps where yours only has three ,I don't know if it makes any difference or not. Dan.

cool build man, glad to see some home built fabrication stuff. Just goes to show that it can be done if one has the motivation.

WWII baseball grenade
The fuse was spent and the bottom was drilled out
I welded a nut to the bottom and grinded it smooth

Wow cool man we are pretty much the same just a few years apart. I'm 24 my first victim was a 64 vw when i was 14-17 then the 64 gmc was next i was 19 or 20 when i did the body drop. I had just never really messed with suspension before so i took the opinion that worked in my head lol.

so i just relized the one of my 4 wheels has 3 nubs instead of 4, it is a little more difficult put the hubcaps on but they are still the same wheels.

i just have to figure out which one is the original size and design

the green gives it a lil bit of character than just a blacked out look would. i say add a few more touches here and there to keep the theme going.

Re: 1970 project/ DD "instant death"

Not to many updates since the new job

Although I'm bagging a customers 66

Scored on the 66, I had to do a s10 front end swap so I have a whole front clip
So I'm probably going to pancake the crossmember

Here's a little something I started making at work whenever I get free time
Making a box for all my valves to protect from thrives and the elements
Nothing fancy but its temporary

Since I'm over the whole automotive career and working for Volkswagen I decided to get back into fabrication
So I got a job at a fabrication shop building trailers and accessories or whatever comes through the door that needs some welding

I'm working on 5 trailers for the state right now
