700r4 to Quadrajet on an L31 Vortec - proper cable bracket and setup?

The 700r4 and quadrajet I have used to be mounted to a 350 that Ive swapped for a new L31 Vortec with the help and coaching from members here. The original work on the old setup was done by a shop that I want to double check their work vs just putting it back together like they did. I dont remember having and issues with the setup, I had the work done and shortly after decided to do the restoration I am and have been doing for the past 5 years.

When it comes to the right bracket and cable setup to the transmission I thought to replace the old ones but I have never done that before. Can anyone tell me if there is a right cable and bracket to get instead? I was looking at a site that explains the geometry of the linkages and all and got overwhelmed. They make it a point to say that failure to set this up right can ruin a transmission and I DONT want that to happen. Here is a link to that site.

And here are a few pics of what I have.

That’s certainly a flimsy looking bracket.
I like these.
Used a couple like it.
Made one from sheet aluminum once to fit an afb.

These are a little expensive, but they work really well and the company is good too.

I second Bowtie Overdrives. Connecting the TV cable and adjusting the line pressures is something that absolutely must be done correctly. If it is not, you will burn up the trans in a very short time.

Wow, I definitely want this done right. I know extremely little about working on this type stuff. If this takes the guesswork out of making sure its set up right and installs in 20 min I will order. Thanks for the info, that link I posted I am guessing mimics the set up that bowtie has designed.

I agree with the others. Bowtie overdrives is how I went.
