327/3onTree for a 350/700r4 swap

I am in the process of swapping out the 327/three-on-tree for a 350/700r4 swap in my 67 Suburban. I had a few questions in regards to the swap. There are two salvage yards in my area that has tons of 67-72 c10 and a few suburbans. I was planning on going out there to pick parts.

1) Can I use a automatic transmission cross-member out of a truck or suburban for the swap?

2) Am I okay to use any automatic column shift steering column from a 67-72 Truck, Suburban, etc?

Thanks. Are they any other parts I need to pull? I have the correct brake pedal Assembly installed. And figured that I have to do a electronic speedo to mechanical speedo conversion on my trans. I also plan on using a lokar shift linkage

There is a little difference between the '67-'68 and '69-'72 columns. The '67-'68 shaft is one piece all the way down to the steering box and the '69-'72 is two piece with an intermediate shaft from the bottom of the column to the box. There are also two different size splines on the steering boxes and rag joints.
