Well I guess I blew that theory. I know the wheels that the truck had on it in the eraly pics are 20's, but I would have sworn the Vintec's were 22's.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

I wanted to know a bit more so I pm'd him. I hope you don't mind me answering:

"its been lowered front and rear, axle flip in the rear, cut 1 coil out of the front springs with 3'' drop spindles i bought off ebay.rally wheels all around,10s in the back with 295/50s and 8s in the front with 255/60s,bfs all around as well" jasonblinn

I have one that started as a stepper & still is but I really dug the look.

In Street Trucks it has the Vintecs on it. Those wheels were before he put vintecs on it. Gotta love the vintecs.
In Street Trucks Magazine it says that the Vintecs are 20s. It also says 255/35/20s front and back

IMO I have 255/35/20 on the front of my truck. I dont think its wide enough for the rear or tall enough. I like to lay down some big tracks!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

the thing i notice a lot is that the rearwheels on those trucks are in further than the front even more so on blazers , must be that the trackwith is smaller there , there not a lot of people that buy rims with a different offset for the rear to counter that (i dont think they would be more expensive though )

They are very similar. I think that one is more detailed.

The first set pictured was when it debuted at SEMA. The next set is clearly VinTec dish, but I still think they are 22's.

My cheat sheet shows the rears as 5.5 BS, but Scoti swears they are 6.5. Since he is the numbers guru and I have a terrible memory, I won't argue.

No.... The rear's were 9.5" & the BS listed before is prob right (it was either 5.0 or 5.50"). The fronts were 20x8 w/5.25" BS (from what I remember). The man that know's for sure is Roger since he ordered them. We just shoot sizes back & forth alot & that's what I remember about the 77's.

The Hill's truck does look like 22's but I can't say for sure because the B.Spec 20" fat-lip wheels do have larger 'windows' which make it difficult to determine on a computer screen.

Does anyone have a picture of a square body with Eagle alloy 212. I'm trying to decide between them or the 211.
