Very nice. I like the 48-54 taillights. Does the e-brake clear the speakers? I'm thinking about giving this a try too, any pitfalls to avoid?

Or are those '55 taillights? Either way, very cool!

I was told that they were for the '55-'59. Stainless brackets with chrome housings for the tail lights.

Man, I went by the shop on Friday, and the place looked nekkid! But they had a sweet '69 Impala in there.
Anyway, you mentioned the tank? My "21 gallon" tank will not hold nearly that much. Oh well, at least you are enjoying it now. Looks great...and SATURDAY is the "FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH!!!"
Cruise-In time!!!

Cruise-In time!!!

I bathed the parking lot of the Texaco station with at least three gallons of gas Wednesday night. The cashier guy didn't seem too concerned until he saw me pushing the truck away from the pumps! That got his attention that maybe I was serious. From now on, I am calling it a 15 gallon tank.

About Saturday, it is also set-up day and vehicle load-in for MERA KnowledgFest in Louisville, KY. I will be looking at a 2006 Honda Civic, rather than enjoying my toy. To make matters worse, the first Saturday in April, I have a work related show in Lenexa (Kansas City), KS. First Saturday of May is Chevy/GMC nationals in Maggie Valley, NC. First Saturday of June is Hot Rod Power Tour starting in Kissimmee, FL. First Saturday of July, I will be returning from a work trip to Italy. But the good news is that August is looking good right now!!

I didn't see any pics to support this, so I have to ask, does the carpet match the ceiling?

No, the carpet matches the curtains! But not the ceiling! Oddly enough, the carpet is bleached blonde on this redhead!

Thanks, George! I hate that I am not going to be able to hit the cruise-in next weekend due to work.

Nice custom touches, not overdone...I really like the side marker gas door, is there a how-to somewhere on the board for doing this...???

thanks...
