With the Thorebeck drop member kit it is using a rack and pinion off a 79-93 Mustang.

This is the kit that I am using.

It's all in the timing isn't it? That looks like a nice burb.

Hello everybody this is my first post. Does anyone have any pictures of the inside of Dave c's burb. I think it may be the one I just bought but I need to see some pics of the inside. I searched all his posts and can't find any. Thanks in advance!

Nice! Your wheel / tire combo looks similar to what I have sitting in the shop to go on my Burb next week.

looks good man.
any pics of the ass?
debating on buying tire for my 6inch wheels or trying to source wider wheels.
i like a wide tire out back. widest possible on whatever size wheel i have on whatever I'm driving.

Nothing wide about this setup. Here's a good link for the wide stuff http://squarebodysyndicate.com/sbs-formula.html

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

just lowered mine the cheap free way this weekend.
until i get the parts to do it properly, i cut a coil and a half up front and pulled 3 leafs in the rear. most likely putting the overload back in this weekend.

anyone who has lowered a 2 wheel drive suburban with a flip kit, please let me know how you got the bolts off the leaf spring to flip the rear. spare tire well leaves little to no room.
plan to order spindles and a flip kit. just no clue on how ill get the bolts out. till then....
