How do you tell if it's a 50th?

Sorry if this has been covered before, and I'm sure it has. I didn't come up with much in searches.
I'm going to look at a truck that is believed to be a 50th but I don't know how to tell for sure. I do know about the paint but that's it. I also know that the driveline has been replaced in this one.
Anybody got suggestions what to look for?

I'll look for that. Not sure if the seat in it is original or not.

I also just found in searches that the paint code should read 515 but in another post it says 551. ??????

Re: How do you tell if it's a 50th?

Thanks for the info guys.
I did go look at the truck and it was a 50th. Dash was painted black, the dashpad was now black and the seat had been recovered. The SPID was still in tact and the paint code was 551. The truck was real straight and it has VERY little rust. Cab supports had NO rust, inner rockers had NO rust. the driver rocker had a small spot that needed repair (about 3" x 2" area near the front, the pass side floor had one small spot that needed repair (about 2" diameter). Paint is pretty rough (well beyond patina) and there is a little damage on both sides of the bed at the outer edge of the tail lights. The only trim left on the truck was the grill rings but they would need to be replaced. Since I'm not REALLY in the market for another truck, it didn't follow me home. I went to look at it in hopes that I could pick it up, do a little to it and put it on the road until I got through a few other projects. This is NOT that kind of truck IMO. Would definately be an excellent start to a project though. I may still go back to get it but I sure don't need it. I'm just hoping somebody gets it that will do it right.

Re: How do you tell if it's a 50th?

we need to see the SPID. If it is, then it is the first 50th stepside i have been made aware of.
Gold dash pad and visors, white door panels, gold and white seat, 551 paint code, and 627 int. code.

I think the 625 verses 627 is the cloth verses vinyl.
