WTB A-Pillar, LHS to fit 64...not sure of interchangeability

I’m looking for left A-Pillar inner & outer assembly from top to Cowl for my 64 C20. Have rust on most of lip up top and down the interior bout 10-14 inches where the pinch weld and resulting seal mounting surface is pretty cruddy. If anyone has a cab thats willing to slice a part, I’d appreciate it. There are no repop panels I can find and considering my rockers are 100% fine, this leak only hit this area and the floor in the corner just a bit, si I’m counting myself pretty lucky...kinda

Any advice is also welcomed. I’m fairly new to this year(s) and how to attack rust where the 67-72 and on have panels available. Thanks

Anyone know if pick-a-part will let me sawzall a piece? TV

Thanks for the response. Wonder if pick-a-part will run me off when I pull out a sawzall?

Nope, they won’t sell a vehicle to be put back on the road so cut anything you want.

I have several 64- 66 Chevy cabs I am cutting. I get $40 and up for custom cuts. I would have to know exacty where you want it cut and inspect mine to make sure it is good. Thanks

Honestly if Cru zn 29 has a good cab close to you that is the way I would go. Depending in the condition of the rest of your cab . I can still cut a pair but sometimes a good cab saves a lot of time and money .

Hey Cruzn29, how much are you asking for a fair condition cab, I believe 63-66 will work...I was looking for the pillars because since I’m Covid unemployed, cost does play into my decision. Would you consider a partial trade, my cab is great, except for this a Pilar issue and minimal floor rust. My rockers are 90% and dash is 100% virgin, economy air and can send pics, but understand if you’re just wanting to clear out your inventory...you’re not too far, so it would be nice to meet a local member too. Thanks. Tony

Thanks for the advice Paul. If it doesn’t work out for entire cab, I’ll send you detailed, measured/noted pics of necessary area. Much appreciated. Tony

Paul, looks like I’ll get you some pics. Seems that Cru_zn_29 is not a regular poster and I’ve got to get this pig running and start enjoying her. I’ll look for a drawing I made for another person but I screwed that one up being a rookie at metal repair. Much better now. Stand by for pic. Thx

Does this give you an idea of what I’m needing? Let me know price...be gentle, I’m on the Covid payroll with the State of California Unemployment Office and they only pay sporadically if at all. Let me know and we can get this done. Tony

Paul, here’s a quick couple from my LHS. I’ll post more detailed with measurements so we’re 100% on the same page. Enjoy....LOL

It looks like on 1/29/21 Ken accidentally posted the price on a thread by short 3/4 in regards to a roof replacement so you’re both right
