I have one, still has the protective cover on it - though it isn't a OEM but a repo and I can't remember where I got it from or what it cost me!

I went a different route and got a full Chrome Handle from AMD. I couldn't put on this cover and it clear my repo tailgate (though I really don't know it was the tailgate or the repo standard / painted handle). Or that is what my brother told me when he was putting the tailgate all back together after painting.
