Not so much not liking the big block, just have a 45 year love affair with SBC's.

Re: Help me to not be stupid. :)

This is all great advice. Yes, having A/C is huge here with August just around the corner. One reason I like the green/white is the A/C cab, and there's a guy in Fort Worth whom I hear does an awesome job restoring factory A/C.

Anyway, thank you all. I will go look at the original one I posted tomorrow and see how I feel about it. Then I will look at the C-20. And I will try not to be stupid.

Re: Help me to not be stupid. :)

I'm from Texas and lived in Virginia and now live in central California I've never had ac and its horrible in traffic or while sitting. Not to bad while moving but u stick to the vinyl and ur always sweating but I love old cars/ trucks and hate modern cars. Working ac is hard to come by in my experience so if u find one u want go for it. My truck has factory ac but is missing everything I plan on putting vintage air in it before next summer. I roast in my truck

And I went to look at the green one. Had lots of issues. Rusted cab mounts were the final straw. Did not make an offer

Back to the drawing board.

I'll do as HeavyD suggests and post a WTB with specs of my perfect truck.
