Key switch

Is there a trick to getting the front piece off ???? It will turn but thats it NEED A LITTLE HELP ON THIS. Its the only thing in the cab and I will be ready to prime the cab. Thanks Moose

If you have not removed the lock cylinder then the outer bezel will not come off. A small paper clip, straightened out can be used to depress the pin located in the lock cylinder. Turn the key towards accessory, depress the pin, (if you look in the little hole, you can see the brass pin). Once the pin is depressed, you can turn the cylinder further ccw and remove the cylinder. it is a good idea to spray the lock with a penetrant. If you have the bezel turned out against the lock cylinder, you should turn it back.

If you don't have the key then you will have to pry the little sliver inside piece out with a screwdriver. After that it should come right out. It took me about tweny minutes to get mine off with the key. Good luck.

that outer ring on around the ignition is kinda threaded, there are 3 little knotches. stick a flathead screw driver in there at the far side of the knotch and hit it to the left, and you'll be trying to spin the ring off counterclockwise.
