Shaving Men is one thing.....Shaming them, which is what this ad attempts to do, is quite another.
We have a generation of young men who already are showing signs of being somewhat lost and directionless...this is not what they need or what is going to help them.

The feminist who developed fronted that Gillette add (Kim Gehrig) apparently has quite the history of man hating stuff out there...including several other videos. (some equally silly and inaccurate stuff)
I'm not sure what Gillette was hoping to accomplish with that ridiculous attempt....but gaining customers is unlikely, unless they are the 'light duty' version of guys, lol.

...I dumped my gillette stuff in the garbage the other day.
Respect is a two way street for sure.....and commerce definitely is for me.
You want my business...then maybe its time you respect my brand.

All good

Re: The Gillette Ad.....more bad marketing

I haven't seen the ad, and I really don't see a lot of commercials because everything we like watching, we DVR first and zip through the commercials. But there are occasions, and if you pay attention the advertising world has changed. Every time you see a group of folks hanging out you are going to see one person of all the prevailing races together. No groups of just one ethnicity any more. Same with how families are portrayed. Its definitely a mixture. I have zero problems with what anyone does with their lives or how they associate. I have a huge mixture in my buddies and family members. I just hate being force fed.

BTW there is a pretty entertaining and thought provoking book by Adam Corolla ( I like the guy, you might not), its called ... In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks

...yeah, he is an interesting guy and has some very good takes on things.
I think he off in his timing tho'.....I'd say given the way things are going these days...... it would be closer to 25 years, not 50 years for us all to be chicks, or at least the next generation lol.

again...remember, 'Guys are the New Girls' according to the high school girls, lol.
....at least they will be if they don't come up out of that basement and put down that gaming console, lol.

Just noticed the add for flamingo shavers at the bottom of this thread about Gillette. Flamingo definitely sounds masculine

Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette, Gillette.

I just wanted to see if the tracker would pop up a Gillette ad at the bottom.

Sometimes a stupid commercial is just a stupid commercial. Every commercial is stupid, in some way or the other. I'd have to go check my razor; I suspect that it's a Gillette. I ain't gonna burn it, if it is.

Gillette and it's parent company, Proctor and Gamble make plenty of other products. If anyone is annoyed by the ad and the general condemnation of men by the left, feel free to let them know by not buying their products.

Re: The Gillette Ad.....more bad marketing

corolla and kimmel had a show with women called "juggies" who jumped on trampolines in bikinis. when it served his purpose, kimmel flipped and became the biggest pussified moron I have ever seen.

let it be said, I didnt like the man show when it was on, I had young daughters and could only think about them being ogled on a trampoline. but to hear kimmel talking today you would think he gave BIRTH to womens rights through his mangina.

Re: The Gillette Ad.....more bad marketing

Commercial says treat women with respect but then when you turn around you see a picture of the Gillette girls in nearly painted on jump suits showing of their curves. Here's the thing, men are getting tired of being blamed for everyone else's mistakes and this clearly showed.

People say if you have a problem with the commercial then why is that? Well turn it around and make a commercial shaming women for being feminine and watch all hell break loose(it's happened in the past). It's not about the message they are trying to support it's about how they went about it. Most men agree that there's no need to be a sleeze but also don't want it shoved down our throats that being masculine is a bad thing. They are a razor company and should stick to selling razors and not ones personal beliefs.

With that being said I decided to look into safety razors after this as I always had a issue with razor burn and sensitive skin and decided to try it out. Im looking forward to going old school and from the sounds of it it'll be a better way anyway.

That pic needs to go viral. So putting women in tight cloths with a a brand name stamped on butt is ok when that picture was taken but mow you are shameful for even looking at it you horrible toxic male. I do see huge problems on the horizon for young males. When this part of society gets what they think they want, they will find out they don't want it after all. It will be to late.

What's more interesting ....is that video has been pulled down and removed.

Not a good thing, but happening more and more these days with videos or messages that are not pushing or moving a particular message.

Hopefully it shows up somewhere else.

You'd probably find more in their stomach than in their testicles. Yeah, I know, it's a gross truth.
