33 12.5 16.5 All Terrain

Just looking for opinions here. Tossing some things around in my pea brain.

These tires have probably less than 1000 miles on them. Ive maybe driven this truck five times on the freeway, it has a weird stumble at 50ish that comes and goes so I stay off the highways. Havent been able to pinpoint it and since this truck is mostly used around town anyway Ive never really cared that much. Never offroad except two times I got stuck in some muddy grass (does that count as offroad lol) They still have all the little factory nubs on them.

I believe the wheels are 8.75 x 16.5. I had em sand blasted and painted white. The caps are 73 and newer. The fronts had the centers cut out by me. Not the greatest job for sure, but if a person took a little time with a dremmel they could be cleaned up pretty nice.

I think I have around 1300 dollars into the set of four. My question to you guys is what do you think I could sell these for today? Im sure they are way too heavy to ship...that would really put a damper on selling em at any distance.

Re: 33 12.5 16.5 All Terrain

what kind of tires are they? (Good Year, cooper, no-name) This will make a big difference. I just looked up on E-Bay and found (tires only) a set of A/Ts for $850.00 make offer for a set of four, brand new with more than 10 sets available. Shipping was $90.00 for the set. Rims should run 25.00 each or so, hub caps is beyond me. I believe a grand would be about right, when you get to the thousand range there are a lot of choices out there and then it becomes entirely up to the individual as to what he really wants.

I almost never buy or sell anything used, so my opinion isn't worth squat...

That's the exact tire I am running (on 9.75 x 16.5 wheels) and I like them a lot. Just a wild guess, based on what I can buy new tires for, maybe around $800, possibly up to $900 with the right buyer. But like I said, I really don't know.

They are BFG All Terrains. I realize the market for anything right now is soft. Thanks for the thoughts so far guys, and btw I do think your opinions are worth a lot more than squat lol. I was thinking 800 to a 1000. I never thought of looking at ebay or craigslist to help get an idea.

CG, used tires are a hard thing to price. They are similar to new cars at the dealership, they lose value almost immediately. That being said, I don't think you will have a problem selling them around $850-900 for sure, and maybe get a little more to someone. The wheels and caps look nice, so I am sure you could dismount them and sell them for another $125-150. That's my opinion. Trevor

I agree with all opinions so far. The real value in selling as a complete set is the time and hassle it saves someone going for this look. They can buy what you have and bolt them on. I think $1000 is reasonable for what you have as a set. In this case I think you would have a harder time selling if you split them up. Sharpie

I think Special-K was looking for wheels like that.

I think he is looking for the wider version. But thanks for the heads up. If I do decide to let these go I will only sell as a complete set.

Could get a new set for 700 so like 800-900. Would be a little steep for me but they do look like they suit that truck nice.

Re: 33 12.5 16.5 All Terrain

I have the same set up on my burb, and I like them a lot but have been tossing around the idea of going a tad narrower on the tire size.

I really like that truck to!

I'd say 800 would be on the premium side, since most don't care for the stock wheels. Unless you take them to a swap meet, and a guy like us wanted them for his truck to keep it with a classic look.

If it were me, I'd be asking 825 or 850 OBO.

I couldn't find any used, so I just paid $250 for one new 33-12.50 x 16.5 BFG AT.
