Yep, I agree 100%. Best looking grilles in the bunch. That's what I wanted to do to the '78 I showed. My favorite square light grille is 83/84 dual light, color matched center bar all the way across and between headlights. Very cool

I like the 83/84 front ends too. This is my ‘84 K10 with an 85ish front end. Well, don’t look too close because it’s actually a GMC that I had to badge as a Chevy until I could find a nice GMC grill to replace the cracked one it came with. I put a Chevy tailgate band and camper special teepee cab trim on it because I figured it might as well be very incorrect.

I bought a nice 84 GMC grill for it from a board member a few years back but haven’t taken the time to take it back to full GMC. I like the Chevy grill better but am intrigued to see what it looks like as a GMC.

It seems I'm not the only one that swaps grills around.

75-76 GMC grills are nice too. The '78 Jimmy I have had it's factory grill in it when I got it but it was all cracked up. Nice round headlight GMC grills for '75 and later are really hard to find without damage in my experience.
