my electric air assisst

i wasn't sure where to put this, so mods, if you know where this should go please move it.

first off, i know electric superchargers are a waste of money and this isn't designed to be one. but this is what i'm thinking, what if i were to put an electric fan out of this old leaf blower i have under the hood of my truck, directly below a scoop and directly over the air filter, i'm not intending to make any sort of boost but rather assisst air flow at lower speeds to the filter since i'm pretty sure that at anything more than 40 mph the scoop will feed more than the fan can move on its own. if nothing else maybe this could atleast bring under hood temps down... comments, pro's, con's, and general ideas and do's and don'ts are completely welcome. here's my crude paint rendering

just another old truck someone else beat up, abused, hacked and didnt respect... my turn to turn it into a beat up old truck into a beat up and reliable pleasure to drive...

them- "when you gonna put an exhaust on that thing?"

me- "what do you mean? The exhaust comes all the way to the bumber and sounds great!"

them- "straight pipes isnt an exhaust man..."

me- "meh... who needs a fancy muffler when you've got straight pipes? its got a cat, doesnt resonate, and I like how it sounds, and to be perfectly honest, it makes me behave myself when I'm out and about!"

I dont think it will be worth the time or effort or look very good when you're through. howeer, I have seen guys that cut the grass at the airforce base here stick their leaf blowers in the intake of the side by sides they pull their equipment with. Says it gives them a little boost lol.

I think if it would work, there would be a kit available. I'll guess that the turbulance caused might be a loss rather than a gain.
