Exhaust Manifolds

I am building a '69 Suburban with a 454 in it, the Truck has 3 on the tree with overdrive, I am in need of some Exhaust manifolds, I don't like headers much, the ones off the 307 won't work and the motor-home I took the 454 out of had something really weird, manifold on one side and a header on the other. I could get a set of stockers but these looked real good:

They need to clear the Frame of course, but also I wish to retain the column shifter, I was wondering if anybody has tried these, any advise would be much apporeciated.
