fleetline question

I know this is a truck forum. But instead of jumping to a different site. I thought I would ask here. I am thinking of buying a fleetline, love the style of them. But, unlike A.D. trucks and tri fives, I know little about them. If looking at one what would be the things to look for? Where are the typical rust areas besides floor pans? How easy is it to put a small block in one? Stuff like that.

Exclamation Re: fleetline question

Notorious rust areas are the floor pans and especially inside the lower wide area in the trunk where the license plate light wire runs in the lower panel, make sure to check for rot or bondo. Good luck.

Re: fleetline question

Look for rust in the lower rear quarter and door bottoms. If the window seals get dried out and let water in,these areas can rust.
