'95-'02 radio knobs ...

I posted this in the '99 & up forum, but thought I would post it here as well since it is technically "audio" related.

Anywhoo ... anyone got a stock "Theft Lock" radio they have taken out for an aftermarket sound system?

Looking for a set of OEM knobs. Let me know what ya got.

These radios were installed in '95-'02 model years ... knobs look like the pic below.

I don't know of anyone who has one on hand, but I would check the local yards and see what they have. Alot of times they will take the radios out when the car comes in.

Yeah ... none of our local yards deal with "late model" stuff.

That sucks. I'll check the yards up here on my next day off. Is there a specific year that you need. I'm pretty sure that the radios for that series are identical, but I have to ask.

Re: '95-'02 radio knobs ...

Hey I appreciate it! It's a 2002 Tahoe that the radio is in. I found a complete set on eBay but they want like $30 plus $10 shipping! I went to the local dealership and ask them about a single knob and the guy behind the parts counter looked at me like i had a horn growing out of my forehead! LOL!

I went to the yards today. No one will sell me just the knobs.

Re: '95-'02 radio knobs ...

Looked them up at work for a 2001 model K1500 and here are the part numbers I came up with for the knobs.

KNOB, RDO VOL CONT #16199583 QTY. =1
KNOB, RDO SPKR CONT #16181818 QTY. =1
KNOB, RDO SPKR CONT (BALANCE) #16181831 QTY. =2
KNOB, RDO TUNING CONT #16199582 QTY. =1
You should be able to get them from your local dealership.

I'll check tomorrow at work for ya. Also where ya located at? I'll be able to see if there's a dealer near you that has them
