would seem to be easier to weld up the holes and redrill the correct spacing.? possibility? know a good welder?

That would be a idea that I have thought about. The problem is that Im not sure that I can pull it off and not F up the powder coating that I have on. I would also prefer that I could cover up any bare welds with maybe a paint or something to keep from showing the repair. Im going to look at it a little closer tommorrow and see what is best.

I have spoke with Bill Turner tonight and we beleive we have found the correct shaft. This may turn out to be a good ending after all??
