Factory Tach
Is the factory tack use the printed circuit or does it have independent wiring?

The printed circuit is different for the factory tach but the tach doesn't use it. Hope that makes sense. It is a 2 wire set up as stated. Eric

I purchased a working tach cluster off the parts board here. Before I could install it folks on this page were debating how accurate the factory tachs are. I felt like there were more people who thought they weren't all that accurate so I used the printed circuit out of my 'new' cluster for the tach opening and installed an aftermarket tach. Long story short, in the attached picture you can see what a factory tach opening printed circuit looks like. The tach under it isn't factory.
