locating the temp guage wire?

does anyone have a wiring harness diagram or can lend assistance?

update

ok i have done some testing of the sender wire and the temp guage and the wiring harness and the voltage at the guage cluster

sender wire has no ohm drop from the pin on guage plug to the sender on the motor...

temp guage reads 54.2 ohms resitance across the two side terminals

voltage at the guage on the printed circuit reads 12.8 volts on one side and 7.4 volts on the other

tell which wire you are referring to and ill try it

green wire

yes there is a dark green wire running from the guage to the sending unit

Ground that green wire, if the guage tachs out, then everything from that wire to the guage is working. (assuming it goes to full ledt when not grounded)
