wrong shade of green

I have a 1970 c10 green in color. I have searched everywhere for interior parts that are green but so far all the catalogs I've looked in only offer interior parts in olive green. Does anyone know where I could get parts that aren't olive green?

If you're referring to internal parts like pad, visors, door arm rests, steering wheel, etc. you probably won't find them except in certain colors. I guess the reason is that the demand is not there for them to mass manufacture all the different colors these trucks came in.

That`s what I`d suggest. An automotive paint shop can match to your part. That green isn`t made in reproduction.

Re: wrong shade of green

I have the particular color you are referring to. Yes, it is impossible to find it. The green that is reproduced is a type of drab green. Our green has a bit of a dark turquoise to it.

My truck was originally supplied from the factory with aqua sunvisors..... when the seat, door panels, and dash pad was the "hard to find" green.

So I am dyeing the visiors and painting the brackets. But I had to have the paint custom mixed and the visors dyed with custom mixed paint. As for the dash pad, I found an original black pad and dyed/painted it the proper color.

So in short, be prepared to dye/paint or change you interior over to good ol' black.... and EVERYONE carries that color.
