Wanna get featured in Classic Trucks?

I'm heading up to Las Vegas in two weeks looking for trucks to feature in Classic Trucks. Naturally 67-72 Chevy C10, or GMC but anything Chevy, Ford, or Dodge from 1940-1987 can be considered.

Also will be going from Vegas to North of Frisco, then heading back down the coast to OC.

Please PM me with what you have, or post what you have in this thread, and I'll contact you.

Thanks,

John G.

I was lucky enough to have a photo shoot with Chuck Vranas back in September. I can't wait for the feature to come out!

When are we going to see some East coast stuff? You do know there are some nice rides East of the Mississippi river right!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

You're kidding right? I'd say we have a pretty good mix from all over the US in Classic Trucks already.

Just in case I'm wrong: I'll tell you what, we list where the truck owners are from in the article and in the Facts & Figures chart. In your spare time go online to www.ClassicTrucks.com or dig through a stack of magazines and tally it all up.

Thanks,

John

Yeah, you're right that's an amazing truck, it makes my mouth water. I'm going to be in KCMO next September for the Mid-West All Truck Nats. There's a good chance I could shoot it then.

Thank you,

john

No need, John. We've been in contact quite a bit since the shoot about different info he's looking for. Thanks though!

Hey bro, if I'm a 100 miles away you know I'm going to show up at dinnertime, and of course for breakfast Menudo.

I'm heading to Nor Cal from Vegas, I'll stop in Atw@ter on the way back home.

This is starting to look like a major bunch of miles. The wheels are falling off my GMC, maybe I can wrangle a new Silverado from GM's press fleet to do a road test?

Best,

John

I'll shoot it for web feature if you're cool with that? PM me your contact info.

You guys did a great job! Black, that's some balls for doing paint. Only the folks that have seen a project all the way to the end know what its all about.

PM sent. It would be an honor and a deserved tribute to the shop that took over the build and made my truck what it is today.

Re: Wanna get featured in Classic Trucks?

This weekend I'm going to install and "first start" my new engine and trans "refreshed" 1968 C10 i've had for 20 years now... since I was 14. The "green machine" as it is affectionately known. Started acquiring parts and slowly rebuilding it as a "survivor" since October, including a new 350 and 200-4r... Should be well running by 2 weeks

It's not a show truck, just a very loved, surviving C10.

Only pic, crappy, from my cell...
