Yeah thats it. I was thrown off because the drivers side has a larger vent opening and does not have the square opening above the vent opening.
Thank you!

Left https://www.classicparts.com/1955-59...tinfo/44-115D/

Right https://www.classicparts.com/1955-59...tinfo/44-116D/

I also found the right one on Ebay with measurements https://www.ebay.com/i/391917980606

Same Dynacorn part number for the left one on Speedway https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Dynac...%20(Mar12_2019)

Here is the right one https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Dynac...vy,401342.html

I'm not a big Speedway fan but that is a 100 buck total difference from the truck trinket shop prices. 173.99 ea as apposed to 224.95 From all of the classic truck parts shops who seem to always have the same prices across the board.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Does a patch panel exist for here?

I recommend, before you order anything, to check under the floor where the cab mounts are. if that part is rusted then the under floor parts, which weld to that, are likely gonna need some help too. the step is also connected in the bottom of the hinge pillar as well as the lower fender mount. there are a few other parts you may need. inner cowl needs to come off if doing the whole panel, for one.
here is a link to the assembly manual showing how it all goes together
https://www.trifive.com/d1/55-59Assy.pdf
sheet 6 and on

do some good precise measurements and X brace the crap outta the cab if you plan on replacing that part. pics with measurement locations work well. when assembling tack stuff together then install the door so you know it fits before final welding. actually, make sure the door fits before you start so you have a baseline. sometimes those replacement panels have the wrong threads for the door hinges so check before installing fasteners. like same size but course instaed of fine threads.

don't expect a aftermarket part to fit right anyway
the most common ones I could find have speakers

I agree 100% there, you have to start at the bottom and build a solid foundation before anything will be square on top of it.

Re: Does a patch panel exist for here?

Thank you all. Lots of helpful advice here. I have it all planned out now. I just couldn’t find that part for the life of me. Helps when you aren’t looking for “inner vent panel” lol. I didn’t know what else to call it.
Thank you very much

Re: Does a patch panel exist for here?

i'd cut it out and weld in a patch before spending $300 on a patch
easy peasy

Re: Does a patch panel exist for here?

You can always trim offwhat part of the patch panel you dont need and weld that in.
