Re: 1962 GMC K1000 Suburaban rear cab supports
I had to make them for my 65. 2 piece welded together down the centerline? took 3 tries to get the shape and angles right. Good luck.

Main problem is no pattern since they are rusted away. I have one not great picture that I'm not sure is an original. To fabricate, I was planning three piece welded on the corners.

Not sure if 62 GMC and 65 Chevy were the same. I started with poster board and cut forms till they fit well then transferred to metal. If your interested I'll dig the poster board stencils out and take pictures and send to you with measurements. If I remember right there were 3 layers to the outside vertical, lower pillar furthest out, then inner rocker, then body support.
