Brake pedal
Tried to removed my brake pedal, removed the shaft & the nut & bolt on the right side, Pedal didn't come down. Do I need to pound it Down ?? Its like its wedged tight between the bracket ?? Have to move to re drill hole in brake pedal.

I would recommend pushing it down and wedging a block in to hold it down while you drill the hole. Just curious, why are you re-drilling the hole? LockDoc

The truck came disc brakes & no power brakes. Putting power brakes on, the Master cylinder rod Won't even line close to the pedal hole. Was told that the holes are in different spots fro Manuel & power brakes. I have to shim the power brake unit down to get the back of the rod up.

There is a bell crank assembly that the booster mounts to when you have power brakes, at least on a 3/4T. I take it that your old master cylinder bolted directly to the firewall?

You don't need to drill another hole. the offset mounting bracket for the booster takes care of that. Just make sure you have the complete booster & bracket assembly..... The aftermarket unit I bought won't work. The booster bracket angle makes the master cylinder rod hang down to far from the pedal hole. Looking for the correct mounting bracket. Who sell this bracket or unit ? Aftermarket is OK if its design to bolt on & Work.. WHERE WHERE
