72 Horn button

Hi all,

Got a new GM Restoration Parts horn button for my '72 Cheyenne Super, as mine is really faded... It looks like it just snaps in, but I want to be sure I don't break the old one taking it out as I plan to keep it for originality.

I've seen a lot of threads that talk about the whole inside and what makes the horn actually work, but not just taking the cap off..

Do I just gently pry it up/out with a small flat trim tool or something?

Re: 72 Horn button

I just grab them at the top with my fingers and give them a quick pull. The 69-72 don't seem to break the tabs very often.

Re: 72 Horn button

Too Much Stuff does what I've done. It does not take much to "pop" it out. The same goes for putting it back...line it up and give it a push like your hitting the horn with a bit of panic.
